The Regions of Ireland - East


The East coast of Ireland is home to Dublin City, Ireland's very vibrant and exciting capital city. Just South of Dublin is County Wickow, known as 'The Garden of Ireland' because of its natural beauty, magnificant mountains, rivers and lakes. Further South is the 'sunny South East' with it's golden beaches, stunning gardens and historic visitor attractions. This region also takes in historic Waterford City, home to the world famous Waterford Crystal. 

Things to do in the East of Ireland

Dublin City - visit the popular Guinness Storehouse, take an open top city tour bus and learn the history of this vibrant city. Visit historic Trinity College, home to the famous Book of Kells.
