Macreddin Village has been chosen by Wild&Slow 2011 to host the inaugural Festival. The Village is not just synonymous with Organic and all things good with food in Ireland, but its Strawberry Tree Restaurant has been a stalwart supporter of Wild Foods for over twenty years.


Located approximately 80 km (1 hour drive) south of Dublin, Macreddin Village is beautifully situated at the junction of several mountain valleys. The Village also boasts The BrookLodge Hotel, AA Hotel of the Year 2009 and Georgina Campbell’s Hotel of the Year 2010.

Wild&Slow2011's comprehensive programme incorporates twenty Wild Food WorkShops over the two days, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th November.
